Class Descriptions

Breathe Yoga Center offers classes for all levels of experience. Our spectrum of classes provide instruction and guidance for a safe, inclusive beginning for new students as well as opportunities for growth for continuing yoga practitioners. You are welcome to drop-in to any class on the schedule. Beginners please read the class descriptions to find the right practice for you.

Flow Classes

Flow is an ever-evolving style of Hatha Yoga that is a blend of many ancient traditions. The emphasis in a Flow practice is on the connection between breath and movement experienced through interconnected postures. Each class is unique and creative, designed to provide a well-rounded experience from beginning to end. Flow classes are a great way to build strength and stamina while refining body and breath awareness, in a safe and supportive environment.

Flow – All Levels Welcome

Our signature Flow class is perfect for any level student. Energize your body as you move fluidly from pose to pose, linking breath with movement. Each class is different, intended to provide you with a complete experience.

Flow & Stretch – All Levels Welcome

If you are looking for a great way to unwind and let go of some tension this is the class for you! Enjoy a gentle flow designed to enhance breath awareness and create greater ease in the body, then move to the mat for deeper stretches.

Flow 2

Our signature Flow class turned up a notch! Enjoy creative sequencing with dynamic breath and movement, and have the opportunity to explore more advanced postures.

Power Flow

This is a vigorous and athletic class with postures that generate heat and a detoxifying sweat for the whole body. The practice results in improved circulation, a strong and supple body, and a quiet, peaceful mind. Recommended for the intermediate to advanced yogi.

Other Regular Classes

To compliment our flow classes we offer a variety of weekly classes that allow students to explore different styles of yoga. Develop precision with Align & Flow, relax deeply with Breathe & Restore, find ease in movement with Gentle Yoga, and enjoy a meditative experience with Yin yoga.

Align & Flow

Designed for all levels of practitioners, seasoned yogis as well as brand new beginners. The pace is slower than a Flow class to give students time to explore their alignment in the postures and develop proper breathing techniques. This class is a great opportunity to refine your practice or begin your yoga practice with a solid foundation!

Beth forward bendBreathe & Restore

Breathe and Restore is the perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate. Give your body the time and space to release tension and free your joints from aches and pains. Enjoy learning basic postures, long stretches, resting on support, and breathing deeply. Leave feeling calm, centered and revitalized.
-Appropriate for all levels.

Gentle Yoga

Relax your body and quiet your mind. Enjoy slow gentle movement, simple and supported yoga postures designed to help relieve tension. Perfect for anyone working with injury, recovering from illness, or simply looking for balance in a busy life.

Yin – All Levels Welcome

Yin Yoga is a passive style in which the muscles of the body are relaxed in order to stretch the deeper layers of connective tissue and fascia. This quiet practice of longer holds and resting into stillness promotes clarity, insight, and well-being.
